Cosmelan®

This treatment guarantees the improvement of skin discoloration and pigmented blemishes with an extremely high safety margin. Designed to eliminate melanin patches of the face as well as acne scarring, this treatment is a simple process adaptable to the needs of each individual person. Improvement in skin tone and texture can be visible as early as one week with blemishes disappearing altogether at the end of the treatment cycle.

Pigmentation or skin discoloration is a consequence of many factors: sun exposure, aging, hormonal fluctuation due to pregnancy and menopause or trauma to the skin (such as acne). Lightening the discoloration/brown spots and inhibiting the cycle which causes pigment to surface, is made possible by the COSMELAN treatment pack.

The Treatment Process

Phase 1 – To be carried out by a professional:

Cosmelan 1 Mask is applied to the skin by the professional and left on the skin for a period of time, depending on skin colour and type. Cosmelan is suited for all skin phototypes.

Phase 2 – At home maintenance:

The mask is removed and Hydravital Factor K Cream is applied. This is a moisturizing and nourishing cream which maintains the skin’s smoothness and elasticity. The depigmentation process continues at home. Cosmelan 2 maintenance cream is applied at home according to the recommended protocol of your doctor/therapist and it is followed by Hydravital Factor K Cream and Total Moisturizing Sun Block on a daily basis.

Results

Cosmelan Depigmentation Treatment is effective in reducing up to 95% of pigmentation on the surface of the skin. Only 30 days after the initial Cosmelan 1 Mask application, a noticeable difference will be seen, and will continue to improve over time with the use of Cosmelan 2 maintenance cream.
